Pizza Dough
Makes one big pizza or two smaller pizzas.
- 1 tbsp active dry yeast
- 1 cup warm water (105-115 F)
- 2 1/2 cups unbleached white flour
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp salt
Combine flour and salt. In a separate bowl, dissolve yeast in water and add sugar and olive oil. Combine and stir until tough, then knead until smooth. Form into a ball and let rest in a greased bowl. Let the dough double and punch it down 2-3 times. Separate and form into pizzas.
